I took a number of videos too, but alas, they are lost, along with my phone. Long story, not for here, not for now.
I learned years ago that those who wish to enter with a Greek identity card enjoy greatly reduced entrance fees to museums and antiquities. On this trip, however, I also that Greece offers free entry to everyone (to the Acropolis and several other sites) on the following occasions:
- March 6 — in memory of Melina Mercouri
- April 18 — International Monument Day
- May 18 — International Museum Day
- The last weekend of September — European Cultural Heritage Days
- October 28th
- Every first Sunday of the month, from November 1st to March 31st annually
