The entire time I’d been in Athens, I continued to work (with the exception of 2 days’ vacation) and serve my students. Thus, I didn’t prioritize day trips, sight-seeing, going to fabulous places. Instead, I wanted to see how living a normal life in Athens would be.
Although I didn’t leave Portland in January as I would have preferred, turns out I missed 2 February/March snow storms, one of which the likes of which had not been seen since 1940, we are told.
