This was my rest day. I realized I’d been overdoing it and that the act of driving long distances is stressful. I didn’t realize that I needed this break so badly. With the exception of part-time work, I did absolutely NOTHING after my arrival and on this day.
I realize I could have made a small visit to just one of the parks that are so close. The tiny drop of rain I described yesterday became a lengthy rainstorm. Still, it could be argued that visiting grand canyons in the rain can be an interesting and unique experience that’s not to be missed.
I didn’t make that argument, though. I took it easy and recharged!
